<div> <div> <div> <div><b>For further inquiries regarding the following opportunity, please contact our Talent Specialist.<br /> Abdul at 224-507-1295</b></div> <div> </div> <div><b>Title: API Developer (Remote)</b></div> <div><b>Duration: 6 Months with possible extension</b></div> <div><b>Location: Remote (Initial one week onsite in Springfield, IL, followed by remote work; Expenses will be reimbursed)</b></div> <div> </div> <div><b>Description:</b></div> <div> <ul> <li>Proven experience as an API Developer, working on data transformation or integration projects.</li> <li>Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with major relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL).</li> <li>Experience in data refactoring, migration, and optimization for web applications.</li> <li>Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and deploying RESTful APIs</li> <li>Proficiency in one or more API development frameworks:<br /> - .NET Core (C#), Java (Spring Boot), Python (FastAPI/Flask), or Node.js (Express).</li> <li> Solid understanding of API security standards and practices, including:<br /> -Authentication (OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, JWT)<br /> -Authorization (role-based access control)<br /> -Encryption (TLS/SSL, data at rest and in transit)</li> <li>Experience working with JSON, XML, and data serialization formats.</li> <li>Familiarity with secure coding practices, input validation, and error handling.</li> <li>Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins).</li> <li>Exposure to cloud environments (Azure, AWS, or GCP) for deployment and data integration.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex data and API issues.</li> <li>Excellent documentation and communication skills for technical reports, API specifications, and deployment guides.</li> </ul> </div> </div> </div> </div> <p><div> </div> <div><u><b>About us:</b></u></div> <div><i><b>DivIHN</b>, the 'IT Asset Performance Services' organization, provides Professional Consulting, Custom Projects, and Professional Resource Augmentation services to clients in the Mid-West and beyond.
