Senior Data Scientist-Pricing

1. Position is currently virtual. Requesting candidate have at least 5 hours of overlap with PST hours

Job Summary:
Utilizes in-depth insurance pricing knowledge to help build Python program to help set base rates and perform market disruption analysis. Work on complex projects operationalizing business decisions and works independently, receiving minimal guidance from manager.

Essential Skills:
- Advanced Python coding skill
- Ability to understand and implement sophisticated pricing algorithms
- Ability to work with large datasets and perform data transformation
- Ability to reconcile data
- Good communication and documentation skills

Education Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Masters degree preferred in data science, statistics, mathematics, business analytics or related.

Experience Requirements:
Minimum two years of work experience required in data analysis, statistical or mathematical modeling, or related. Experience in insurance industry preferred.
