Job Duties: Job Requirements: Analyze requirements, prepare design, and develop robust, scalable software applications and features using object-oriented programming and experience with back-end technologies like Spring Boot/gRPC, agile methodologies, and Big Data platforms. Extend the Fraud Load offset functionality to Venmo under the PayPal Compliance Global investigation domain. Build 2-way communication functionality under the PayPal Compliance Global investigation domain. Develop dashboards to track the Universal referral status across domains under the PayPal Compliance Suspicions activity domain. Onboard new regulators under the PayPal Compliance Suspicions activity domain. Utilize Oracle, SQL, JDBC/ORM, Message Queue, App servers/Servlet containers, and Maven/Git/Continuous integration to design scalable software solutions and implement the functionality using Java technology into the PayPal ecosystem. Periodically review and clarify technical requirements with the product team to ensure compliance with architectural blueprints. Perform end-to-end testing of projects including performance and load tests to ensure quality checks in adherence with PayPal guidelines, utilizing experience with REST APIs, Web Services, Unit Testing, Java/Go Build tools, Spring, or any web MVC frameworks. Partial telecommuting permitted from within a commutable distance.
Minimum Requirements: Masters degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, or a closely related field plus three years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
Special Skill Requirements:
OOP skills, the ability to analyze requirements and prepare design (3 years);
REST APIs, Web Services, Unit Testing, Java/Go Build tools (3 years);
Spring or any web MVC frameworks (3 years);
Oracle, SQL, JDBC/ORM, Message Queue, App servers / Servlet containers, Maven/Git/Continuous integration (3 years);
Back-end technologies like Spring Boot/gRPC (3 years);
Experience in cloud service, like AWS or other cloud services (2 years);
Experience debugging using log retrieval tools (3 years);
Experience in Elasticsearch to speed up service search performance (3 years).

Salary: $158,735.00-$243,500.00 per annum. 40 hours per week; M-F, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
