Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and compliance.
• Oversee cost control, financial analysis, and operational finance within a mining environment.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end processes.
• Maintain and improve internal controls for a complex mining operation.
• Provide strategic financial insights to executive leadership and operational teams.
• Manage audits, statutory compliance, and regulatory reporting specific to mining and precious metals.
• Lead a finance team and promote operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements

• CA (SA) qualification essential.
• 5–10 years of senior finance experience within Gold or Precious Metals Mining (non-negotiable).
• Proven experience managing a full finance function in a mining production environment.
• Strong knowledge of cost management, operational finance, and mining financial systems.
• Leadership capability with the ability to influence and drive change.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-compliance environment.
