POSITION INFO:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Technical Team Lead (technically very strong with good leadership and social skills)
· Java Spring Boot
· Angular
· Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter

ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
· Technical Team lead skills
o Taking ownership for all aspects of the DevOps Team’s delivery to meet relevant KPI’s together with an Agile Master
o Leadership skills, soft skills
o Stakeholder and business engagement and management
· Very strong development skills with the following technical skills:
o Java Spring Boot
o Angular (Typescript and JavaScript)
o Kafka & JMS (MQ)
o SQL (Oracle, Postgres)
o Cloud infrastructure (AWS)
o RESTful and SOAP services
o Design and development of Microservices
o Git, GitHub
o CI/CD pipelines
o Maven, docker
o Jira, confluence
o Unit testing, integration testing

WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE?
· IT Degree / Diploma / Equivalent experience
· 10 -15 years JAVA development experience
· Experience in leading teams

WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES?
o Ensuring on time, quality delivery
o Leading developers and testers technically whilst developing, writing and reviewing code themselves and driving an excellent PR Process within the Team.
o Stakeholder and business engagement and management
o Constantly building good Team culture with healthy team dynamics
o Pro-active knowledge sharing, mentoring, and coaching of team members.
o Identify risks / impediments and proactively resolve them and escalate as necessary.
