SUMMARY:
Our external client based in Gauteng is looking for a Technical Lead on contract.

POSITION INFO:
Background:

The Integrated Health Management System (IHMS) project will implement Occupational Health Management systems to business units in Southern Africa, Peru, Chile, Australia and Canada. Some sites have existing Occupational Health systems that will be replaced, while others run manual processes. It is critical that existing data be migrated to the Occupational Health Management systems, independent of the source of the data sets.
For each site, integrations to and from the Occupational Health Management system are needed from systems for audiometry, X-rays, vision tests, etc. Also, integrations are needed from other Company systems to ensure that data is sent between systems to ensure an end-to-end process enablement.
The IHMS Project identified the below services which vendors are expected to respond with an approach and resources to meet the requirement.

Integrations:
·         Work with the team, architects and developers to document the integrations designs
·      Oversee the development of the solutions integrations.
·         Produce technical design documents for Company approval
· Understand the technical requirements for the integrations and coordinate with relevant teams to ensure that the environments and resources are available for the development and testing of the integrations
·       Ensure that the integrations are tested on the different environments in line with the Governance processes.
·       Ensure adherence to Company architecture standards and governance procedures

Hosting Environments:
·         Work with the architects to ensure that the infrastructure/hosting environments is in line with the business requirements.
·         Provide continuous feedback on the health and compliance of the environments to the design.
·         Coordinate the auditing of the different environments on regular intervals
·         Request the modification and continuous improvement of the hosting environments
·         Ensure adherence to Company architecture standards and governance procedures

Data Loads:
·         Manage the data take-on process end to end
·         Ensure Mapping of all source systems in line with Business Requirements Specification
·         Lead the extract of all data as mapped
·         Blend and Transform data in preparation for ingestion
·         Manage the vendor data ingestion process and provide assurance mechanism to ensure data accuracy
·         Ensure that the Data Load environment is design and fit for purpose ·         Understand the challenges faced by the Data take-on teams and assist in finding sustainable solutions

Technical liaison (internal and external):
·         Work with the different technical teams including the networking, infrastructure, vendor to ensure collaboration for the benefit of the project.
·         Provide advise/guide to the project team and contribute to finding solutions to the project challenges.
