SUMMARY:
Our external client is looking for a CMDB Analyst with 2-4 years experience of the service configuration management practice is to ensure that accurate and reliable information about the configuration of services.

Responsibilities:

Safety, Health and Environment
- Performance and Delivery (Required for Operational roles to align to Operating Model)
- Assist personnel in performing ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping processes and troubleshooting the errors that arise.
- Work to configure the Service Mapping tool and load data / dependencies identified by Service Mapping into the CMDB.
- Assist in the integration/ field mapping and reconciliation of data from ServiceNow discovery, Service Mapping, SCCM, SolarWinds discovery, and ad hoc loads in the configuration management module.
- Perform change reconciliations for data in the CMDB.
- Assist with audits of CMDB data to ensure that the data is accurate.
- Assist with maintaining CMDB data which is not discoverable by automated tools.
- Assist with tasks related to implementing the ServiceNow application in the OT environment.
- Work in documenting procedures for the discovery, configuration, and change management functions
- Assist in developing, modifying, and configuring reports, dashboards, and outputs associated with the change, configuration, discovery, and mapping functions.
Compliance:
- Experience with the ServiceNow application and specifically the modules relating to Discovery, management of Configuration items, and Change Management.
- Detailed understanding of, and experience with, ITIL processes
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 or higher
- Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment - Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast- paced environment, a self-starter
