SUMMARY:

Our client is recruiting for a Senior Change Manager for a 3 month contract, renewable depending on performance. Position based in Johannesburg Northern suburbs.

POSITION INFO:
Purpose:

The Senior Change Management Practitioner will play a key role in ensuring projects (change management initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. This candidate will focus on the people side of change – including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.

The candidate will work to identify, engage with and record key stakeholders and other stakeholder groups within each Business Unit / Site to encourage transfer of ownership, drive faster adoption, higher ultimate utilization and greater proficiency of the changes that impact / involve employees in the Business Units, thus increasing benefit realization, value creation, ROI.

Primary responsibilities:

• Current Mining industry experience beneficial
• Creating and implementing a Master Change Management strategy (includes input from the Project Change Managers) and Change Plans that is aimed toward maximizing employee sensitization, awareness, adoption, usage including preparing plans to minimize resistance.
• Work with organization to define & communicate the vision for change, in line with the strategic vision, operating model and benefits case.
• Ensure best practice change management techniques are followed and methodology is suitable for the organization.
• Ensure alignment with company overall change management methodology and approach, as well as other projects.
• Work with People Alignment, Communication and Change Enablement team leads and Training Managers / HRD to ensure delivery of a strategic and integrated change programme.
• Identifying Senior and Key Stakeholders and Stakeholder groups
• Identifying additional impacted User Stakeholders and Stakeholder groups
• Conducting regular interviews with individuals / groups to analyze expectations and concerns
• Managing requirements

• Training support is vital in ensuring the effectiveness of the training, training material and learning outcomes
