A well-known mining company based in KwaZulu-Natal is seeking to employ a Resident Engineer who carried a legal appointment as 2.13.3.1 for no less than 5 years. They are an internationally renowned company and needs this resident engineer to lead an expansion project for them for a period of 19 months (Limited duration contract). This is an amazing opportunity to gain valuable experience.
Education:
- GCC – Mine and Works
- Degree in Mine Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- 2.13.3.1 legal appointment for 5 years minimum
- Review and sign-off all contractors Method Statements, Risk Assessments and Safe Work Procedures for activities done on the project.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance to the relevant safety standards, procedures and risk assessments.
