3D Designer (Northern Suburbs, Cape Town) – Market-Related Salary Leading marketing and research agency offering end-to-end customer and consumer marketing services is seeking a qualified 3D Designer to use CAD based software to translate conceptual designs into physically accurate drawings for use in real world application and manufacturing. Experience and Qualifications Required: - Tertiary qualification in Industrial Design - A minimum of 3 years’ experience in the role of Industrial Designer - Experience in CNC machines, laser cutters, 3D printing, vinyl printers and plotters - Experience with MDF, natural woods, acrylic, common metals, cladding & laminates and the manufacturing methods relating to these materials - Expert in creating technical manufacturing drawings Technical proficiency in the following software applications is required: - Good at sketching out schematics of how a product should look - Must be an expert user of SolidWorks professional Suitable candidates must be an analytical thinker; expert in solving problems through design and have meticulous attention to detail, together with the following personal attributes: - Ability to concisely articulate a concept - Collaboration skills - Able to work under pressure - Able to manage multiple projects at the same time - A positive “can-do” attitude - Excellent time management skills - Strong in prioritisation and organisational skills - Able to work collaboratively with diverse personalities (high EQ) Email your CV + Qualifications to *Please note that due to the high volume of applications if you are not contacted within 2 weeks, please consider your application unsuccessful.
