SUMMARY:
Our client, a Global leader in their industry, currently seeks a strong Financial Business Partner to support their Power & Recovery Operations.
POSITION INFO:
Job Purpose:
You will be the Finance Lead participating in risk identification, value creation and building a sustainable business model and culture.
You will also support the finance controlling function and other business stakeholders.
The Person:
- B.Com Accounting or equivalent Finance Degree.
- CIMA Certification, a strong advantage.
- CA (SA) an added advantage.
- Min. 3 years Commercial / Corporate experience as a Finance Business Partner or Management Accountant.
- Working knowledge of SAP (CO, MM, FI, PP).
- Experience working with data analytics and presentations.
- Data Analytics tools, e.g. MS Excel / Python / R / MS Power BI / Tableau / QlikView).
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
The Job:
Report to the Commercial Manager:
- Drive business performance through assuming a key role within the Power and Recovery Operations’ team to deliver high quality financial information and commercial insights.
- Prepare analysis and reports that enable the business management to effectively challenge costs and inform decision-making (timely).
- Provide the business with relevant financial support to enable effective planning while applying budgeting and forecasting techniques.
- Ensure governance and compliance through effective application of financial controls and risk management.
- Demonstrate effective cross-functional collaboration.
