SUMMARY:
This longstanding FMCG client currently seeks an AA Management Accountant: Budget Administration.

POSITION INFO:

Essential:

National Diploma or B.Com Degree in Finance or Financial Accounting.
Minimum 2 years budget administration experience in a medium to large organisation.
A proven track record in a financial environment with a thorough understanding of financial, cost and management accounting practices and procedures.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in MS Office.
Proficiency in Syspro, SAP or equivalent.

The Person:

An individual with exceptional organizational and self-management skills, who excels in anything to do with budgets.
A person who is comfortable dealing with senior internal and external customers and has a strong preference for working within established procedures and regulations.
Pays close attention to detail and is thorough and meticulous in their presentation of work.

The Job:

Drafting, consolidation and administration of budgets, including the monthly monitoring of budget variances.
Annual budget preparation and monthly controls, in close consultation with Departmental Managers in the division and with internal stakeholders.
Monthly budget administration including advice to Managers regarding effective budget utilisation.
Ensuring that relevant financial information is conveyed timeously and accurately to the Director in a logical and understandable format.
Continuous assessment of business risk and good corporate governance practices in accordance with the financial policies and procedures of the company.
