ACCOUNT MANAGER
Pinelands

Our client, based in Cape Town, offers innovative asset management systems. They have a vacancy for an Account Manager, to be based at their head-office in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town. This is a hybrid position with personnel currently working 3 days per week in the office.

In this role, you’ll manage existing client accounts (80%) while identifying new business opportunities (20%). You'll work closely with internal teams to deliver value-driven, customized solutions and maintain long-term customer success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure ongoing value and satisfaction
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities and drive recurring revenue growth
Act as the primary point of contact for key accounts
Deliver tailored software and service solutions through a consultative, solution-selling approach
Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs and ensure successful implementation
Manage proposals, contracts, and invoicing processes
Monitor account performance and market trends to guide client success

REQUIREMENTS:

Proven experience in account management, software sales, or IT solutions
Strong communication and negotiation skills (English; French/Portuguese a plus)
Solution-selling mindset with a customer-first approach
Familiarity with CRM tools (Pipedrive, Kantata/Mavenlink a bonus)
Experience with geospatial, land, or mineral rights management (preferred)
