SUMMARY:
Verdun Estates in Prince Alfred's Hamlet offers this new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage Debtors and Creditors
Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
Manage Bank Reconciliations
VAT reconciliation, preparation and submission
Salary admin including EMP501 recons
Financial Reports on monthly variance analyses
Cost Accounting
Operational stats
Cash Flow Management
Internal Control Measures
Implementation of accounting system policies
Continuously monitoring and flagging system issues and identifying potential improvements to system
Letters / credit applications;
Insurance claims
Asset registers

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

Suitable tertiary qualification
Minimum 3 year experience
Advanced Excel Skills
Experience in pastel or similar accounting software
Qlikview and Vitrax experience is preferred
Good analytical and communication skills
Self-motivated, accurate and pay attention to detail
