Verdun Estates in Prince Alfred's Hamlet offers this new and exciting opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join their team.
 

POSITION INFO:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage Debtors and Creditors
• Bookkeeping to Trial Balance
• Manage Bank Reconciliations
• VAT reconciliation, preparation and submission
• Salary admin including EMP501 recons
• Financial Reports on monthly variance analyses
• Cost Accounting
• Operational stats
• Cash Flow Management
• Internal Control Measures
• Implementation of accounting system policies
• Continuously monitoring and flagging system issues and identifying potential improvements to system
• Letters / credit applications;
• Insurance claims
• Asset registers

• Suitable tertiary qualification
• Minimum 3 year experience
• Advanced Excel Skills
• Experience in pastel or similar accounting software
• Qlikview and Vitrax experience is preferred
• Good analytical and communication skills
• Self-motivated, accurate and pay attention to detail
