SUMMARY:
Natal Midlands Ã¢Â€Â“ KZN: Our client needs to add an energetic and sales driven member to their team. The successful candidate will report to the Regional Sales Manager

POSITION INFO:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Diploma in Agriculture or Marketing Diploma.
Knowledge and experience of maize, soya, sunflower, wheat, pastures and forage crops would be an advantage.
Fluent in verbal and written English communication skills essential
Good interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to work independently
Extensive traveling away from home
Computer skills; MS Word, Email and Excel.
Valid South African Drivers License.

Main Responsibilities including but not limited to:

Farm visits and effective call cycle implementation to promote the company’s product range and image.
Deal with clients, following up on orders, deliveries, and payment, as well as provide customer service throughout the season.
Build positive relationship that will generate future sales, while maintaining and expanding customer base.
Identifying trends, determining regional sales system improvements, recommend product lines by identifying new product opportunities, surveying customer needs, tracking competitors and contributing with regional sales information and recommendations for strategic plans and reviews
Arrange and co-ordinate Farmers Days
Plant strip trials - monitor and capture data.
Effectively managing debtor accounts.
