POSITION INFO:

🌻 AGRONOMIST / TECHNICAL SALES MANAGER 🌾

Our client, a well-established seed breeding and production company, is currently seeking to appoint an Agronomist / Technical Sales Manager.

📍 Location: George, Howick, or Pretoria

💰 Salary: R35,000 – R40,000 CTC

🚗 Benefits: Provident Fund + Company Vehicle (vehicle not included in CTC)

⏰ Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00

Essential Requirements

✔ 2–5 years’ experience in seed sales or agronomy

✔ Relevant Agronomy qualification and practical experience

✔ Fluent in Afrikaans and English (reading, writing, and speaking) – essential

✔ Valid driver’s license (non-negotiable)

✔ Own reliable transportation

🚗 Willingness to travel and work weekends or overtime during peak seasons

💬 Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Key Responsibilities

📈 Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies for seed products

👨‍🌾 Provide technical agronomy advice to farmers and agents regarding product use

🧪 Assist with the planning, execution, and evaluation of product trials

📢 Ensure new product information is communicated effectively to agents and farmers

🎤 Deliver presentations at farmer days, study groups, and industry events

💰 Develop and meet sales budgets by monitoring and tracking performance

📦 Assist with stock takes and management of consignment stock
