JOB SUMMARY: Sous Chef/Senior Chef de Partie
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A 5* Game Lodge and Restaurant located in the Kruger National Park.
Standard Kitchen Supervisory duties will apply. Previous experience within a similar role required ideally within a lodge/game lodge environment (even at senior chef de partie level). Must enjoy nature and the bush. 5* Service orientated. Will assist Exec Sous and Head Chef in daily operations and production within the kitchen. Have input in Menu planning, wastage management and portion control, quality control, training of junior staff, stock control and production of meals for service.
Formal culinary diploma or qualification is an advantage.
Good leadership skills. Driven and hard working. Ethical. Punctual, reliable. Of sober working habits. Must enjoy the trade, love cooking and be good at producing great quality meals.
Shared accommodation at minimal rental (Levy). Uniform.
