Job Description
Our Client seeks a strong Restaurant General Manager who is skilled and experienced in running a busy Full Service Restaurant from A-Z. Strong personality required. Ability to effectively manage and lead Staff, Control Stock and Costs, Customer Engagement and Satisfaction. Will be required to run this operation as if it were your own (to take full ownership of the running of it / requiring minimal time invested from the Owner). Drive Research and Development of New menu and beverage offerings to serve in the restaurant. Duties will include but will not be limited to: detailed stock management, customer relations, Restaurant administration, food-liquor costing, stock reporting, service quality control, opening & closing procedures.
Qualifications
Relevant Food Service/Food and Beverage Qualifications will prove an advantage but experience and know-how is more important to the Owner.
Skills
Looking for an all-round general management candidate with 10 or more years’ experience in a full-service (not fast food) Restaurant environment. Must be well-spoken, fluent in English with exceptional communications skills. Exceptional Customer engagement. Must have very strong restaurant operations management skills with the ability to manage a complete Restaurant / Bar operation. A hands-on fast thinker with strong organizing and time management skills. Applicants must be ambitious, self-motivated and be able to work under pressure, leading a large team with skills in staff management, staff motivation and staff training.
