SUMMARY:
Are you a seasoned Accounts Payable professional with strong leadership skills and a proven track record of managing a high-performing team? Our client is seeking a hands-on AP Supervisor to lead and support their dynamic finance team.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the full AP function, ensuring accurate and timeous processing of invoices and payments.
Lead, mentor, and support a team of 2–3 AP clerks, driving efficiency and continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and financial regulations.
Perform reconciliations, resolve queries, and maintain supplier relationships.
Provide analytical insights to improve processes and support management reporting.

What You’ll Need:

Degree in Accounting/Finance (SAICA/CIMA) – non-negotiable.
Minimum of 5+ years’ supervisory experience in Accounts Payable – essential.
Proven leadership capabilities with the ability to support and develop a small team.
Experience in Freight Forwarding or a similar logistics environment highly advantageous.
Strong technical abilities with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
High adaptability and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Stable career track record (no trend of job-hopping).
Preference will be given to Employment Equity candidates.
