ASSISTANT DRAFTSMAN/CAD OPERATOR (JUNIOR) – East London - Our Client is seeking a hardworking and motivated Assistant Draftsman / CAD Operator to join their team. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, have strong communication skills, and be able to perform under pressure to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Draftsman or CAD Operator.

Proficiency in CAD software and technical drawing.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Strong communication in English and teamwork skills.

Valid driver’s license and own transport.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with the preparation, modification, and updating of technical drawings and plans.

Work closely with engineers, project managers, and team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements.

Interpret and understand technical drawings and project specifications.

Provide support with documentation and filing of project-related data.

Ensure that all work is completed within the set timelines and quality standards.

Working hours are between 7:30 and 16:30 with paid overtime when and if necessary

Salary – Market related
