JOB DESCRIPTION:

ASSISTANT PASTOR

A multicultural church based in Walmer, Port Elizabeth is seeking to appoint an Assistant Pastor who meets the following requirements:

Key Performance Areas

Pastor/sheperd the people of our congregation & the community we minister into
Serve on the Eldership team, including the Finance Team
Preach & Teach as required
Lead a Community/House church
Oversee the Kids Ministry team
Carry overall responsibility for all AV services including, on line streaming, video productions etc
Assist with the Employment Club
Facilitate Computer Training
Co-ordinate Farming God’s Way training & gardens

Qualifications & Requirements

B Theology degree non negotiable through a recognized Tertiary Institution.
Minimum 3 years as an Elder/Pastor in a local church with a proven track record & strong supporting references
Be part of an NCMI (New Covenant Ministries International) partnering church for the last 5 years plus
Able to speak Shona & English Fluently & basic Xhosa & Afrikaans
Technically competent in computer & AV, Social Media skills
