The Audit Manager will play a key leadership role in planning, executing, and finalising audits across a diverse portfolio. This role combines hands-on technical responsibility with people management and client relationship development.

POSITION INFO:
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead the planning, execution, and finalisation of audit assignments
• Review working papers and completed audit files for quality and compliance
• Communicate directly with clients and resolve technical issues effectively
• Mentor and develop audit trainees and junior clerks
• Ensure adherence to IRBA regulations and internal quality control standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement in audit processes and methodologies
• Maintain strong professional relationships with clients and stakeholders

• Completed SAICA Articles
• At least 2 years’ post-articles experience in an audit management or supervisory role
• Bilingual – Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written)
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and ISA
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership abilities

• Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Effective team leadership and people development mindset
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Client-focused approach with professional integrity
