PBT Group has an opportunity for a talented AWS Developer to join our team. The AWS Cloud developer will work closely with the various members of the BI, Architecture, Networks, Cloud and Infrastructure teams as well as key business stakeholders. Being passionate about maintaining and developing Cloud-based solutions and processes to improve ways of working is essential to this role.

About you:

Bachelor''s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
1-3 Years Experience in Python, Spark, PySpark and on Hadoop administration and development, with a key understanding of Hive and Hive Meta-store
3 to 5 years experience in SQL, Databases and software engineering with a focus on serverless applications and computing in the Cloud.
Ability to design and articulate solutions
Proven experience of core AWS services and features for Data Engineering:
AWS EMR and EMR Notebooks
AWS Glue (Data-Catalogue) and ETL (scripted jobs with change from Glue Context to Spark Context)
AWS IAM
AWS Step Functions
AWS S3
AWS REDSHIFT and AURORO DB
AWS Inter-Account Access Design and setup for data transfer
Knowledge of working with VPC Subnets
AWS Lambda functions
