AWS Lead Engineer – Semi Remote – R750 Per hour

An awesome AWS Lead Engineer opportunity to work for a German multinational corporate company that manufacturers luxury vehicles. You will be involved with a team working on high-performance technical architecture using top of the market industry tools

In this role you will be responsible for cloud computing technologies, business drivers and emerging computing trends, you will also be managing project deliverables / processes

Core understanding of and working experience with:

• Relevant IT / Business Degree
  At least 5 years Cloud engineering/architecture / reporting technology experience
• Extensive experience in implementing and monitoring solutions
• Amazon Web Services experience required
• Automation experience in PowerShell and Python
• Windows and Linux systems and shell commands
• Passionate about big data architecture, development and thrilled about latest technologies, strategic but also hands-on.
• Design and implement big data architecture on Splunk and AWS that can handle the ingestion, processing, and analysis of data that is too large or unstructured for traditional database systems.
• Able to translate complex requirements into functional software.
• Experience in developing BI dashboards & backend applications
• Advanced knowledge of observability solutions for ingesting, monitoring, visualizing and analysing data technologies
• Ability to work interdependently as well as independently and to submit deliverables on time and with excellent quality
• Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills with the ability to communicate effectively (both verbally and in writing) with both technical and non-technical colleagues / users
• Strong ability to understand and interpret business needs and requirements with an aptitude to move concepts through to proposal and successful implementation

Reference Number for this position is GZ55144 which is a long-term contract position rotating between Midrand, Pretoria and Home offering a contract rate of between R640 - R750 Per hour negotiable on experience and ability.
