  The Role:

  Essential functions:

  • In partnership with the Technical Lead â?? be responsible for providing support across the hiring, mentoring and coaching processes for the teams.
  • Regularly interacting and managing stakeholder relationships and expectations on senior and executive levels on matters relating to functional areas, divisions, or customers.
  • Daily interaction and leading of engagement with customers.
  • Developing cross functional relationships across business and technical leads, architects, product owners and internal/client stakeholders.
  • Promoting SDLC methodologies whilst still being pragmatic with regards to each project/client or teamsâ?? unique challenges.
  • Communicating project status, open issues and solutions to team and stakeholders.
  • Early identification of any people or project risks and mitigation of such risks.
  Skills and Experience:

  Essential Qualification:

  • Matric

  Preferred Qualifications:

  • Tertiary Qualification in an IT Discipline.
  • Certifications or Courses in preferred development language.

  Experience required:

  • At least 7 years of experience in the Software Development/Application Management industries.
  • 3 - 5 years ofexperience in a leadership position.
  • Track record in providing Project, Delivery and Financial Management expertise to a diverse team of consulting software specialists.
  Key Accountabilities:
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and organizational skills.
  • Have excellent business judgment, with a pragmatic approach to getting things done.
  • High attention to detail, with a proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously.
  Personality and Attributes:
  • Have necessary hard and soft skills that are required to overcome the traditional barriers between software development, testing and operations teams.
  • Must be a clear methodical thinker with good problem-solving skills.
  • Able to perform under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
  • Self-managing and takes the initiative to resolve issues.
