The Role:
A focus client based in Bedfordview is looking for an Account Manager to drive sales within the IoT space.
Skills and Experience:
Experience Required:
- Matric
- University Degree or Equivalent
- Minimum 3 - 5 years'' sales or account management experience within ICTÂ
- Proven experience in developing and successfully executing against a sales plan
- Proven track record of increasing revenueÂ
- Bilingual is advantageousÂ
Key Accountabilities:
- Discover, qualify and develop new business opportunities
- Build a pipeline of new activity within and outside the customer base.
- Develop new and expand existing customer relationships
- Understand and align the IOT value proposition with the business landscape
- Understand competitive landscape and how IOT fits into a total IOT enterprise solution.
- Meet with senior executives on a regular basis to identify a strategic and tactical opportunities, detailing "must solve" problems.
- Manage, escalate and oversee technical issues from an account management perspective and manage, escalate and resolve contractual issues.
- The successful applicant will have entrepreneurial qualities and will develop creative strategies to increase new business through new channels
