JOB SUMMARY:
Do you have a Bcom degree looking for a contract position to fill the gap?
A consulting Engineering company based in Pretoria East is looking for a well-spoken individual to work as both a debtor’s clerk as well as a call centre operator taking all calls coming in from the public and sorting out queries. This is a project-based contract position. IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A BCOM DEGREE YOUR CV WILL NOT BE VIEWD!!!

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Education:

Grade 12
Bcom degree (Any) as a minimum

Requirements:

BCom with 2 years’ experience, or 5 years call centre and account management experience.
Basic Accounting knowledge and experience working on a financial system.
Debt Collection experience
Good Excel skills
Good communication skills- both written and verbal
Analytical
Attention to detail
Organized and deadline driven

Duties and responsibilities amongst others:
Performing financial administration, accounting, and call centre duties on the project, which include and is not limited to:

Basic accounting functions (reconciling accounts capturing and allocating deposits)
Call Centre duties: taking calls from the public, logging and handling financial and other queries.
Implement Call Centre procedures to ensure high level of customer service
Debt Collecting and Access Control – follow debt collection procedures and block access for non-payment.
Responding to queries, both written and per telephone.
General Administration: Manage and arrange meetings, and agendas, minutes, and task lists.
General Administration: Opening of accounts, vetting clients, implementing credit control measures.
General Administration: preparing monthly reports
