POSITION INFO:

Now Hiring: Accountant & Internal Auditor

Location: Bloemfontein, Free State

Salary: R18 000 – R25 000

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant & Internal Auditor to join a dynamic team in Bloemfontein. The role involves managing accounting systems, ensuring financial accuracy, and improving internal controls, risk management, and governance processes.

Qualifications

• National Senior Certificate (NQF 4)

• BCom Accounting / BCompt Accounting Science

• SAICA or SAIPA completed articles

Experience

• Minimum 2 years post-article accounting experience

• Minimum 2 years auditing experience

Key Responsibilities

• Bank reconciliations, creditors, and financial record management

• VAT reconciliations and SARS submissions (EMP201, VAT returns)

• Preparation of management accounts and financial statements (Caseware)

• Fixed asset register and financial reporting

• Month-end reporting, accruals, and cash flow analysis

• Ensure compliance with SARS regulations and IFRS-SME standards

• Conduct internal audits and risk assessments

• Maintain financial data using Pastel Accounting
