SUMMARY:
Our well-established client in the Assurance and Advisory space is urgently looking for a skilled, dynamic Accountant to join their team based in Pretoria East.

POSITION INFO:
Your duties include, but are not limited too:

Accounting up to Trial Balance (preferable XERO or Sage One Accounting)
VAT201’s and VAT Reconciliations
Payroll up to reconciliation – EMP201 and EMP501’s (Simplepay)
SARS:
- VAT and other registrations
- PAYE and UIF registrations
- Income tax, provisional tax and other submissions
- Disputes
- SARS meetings to settle disputes and submit registration documents
- SARS compromise agreements
Financial statements preparation (preferably Caseware) – advantageous

Education:

Completed BCom in Accounting

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Completed SAIPA articles
Minimum of 3 years in a similar role/accounting background
ERP experience in XERO, Sage One, Simplepay, Caseware
Strong Advanced Excel skills
Attention to detail
Effective communication skills
Organizational skills
Team player
Deadline driven
Effectively works under pressure
