SUMMARY:
Accountant – Practice Environment

We are looking for a qualified Accountant to join our client's team in a professional practice environment. This role offers exposure to a variety of accounting and bookkeeping tasks, making it ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, methodical, and committed to accuracy.

POSITION INFO:
Role: Accountant
Location: Caledon, Overberg, Western Cape
Salary: TBC

Key Responsibilities:

Full bookkeeping and accounting functions
Preparing and submitting tax and statutory returns
Performing statutory work
Preparing annual financial statements and working papers
Resolving accounting and tax queries
Calculating and submitting income tax
General administrative duties related to accounting

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
Completed SAIPA / SAICA articles
Fluent in Afrikaans and English
Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
High attention to detail and accuracy
Reliable, hardworking, and able to take initiative
Ability to work under pressure in a structured environment
Proficient in accounting software and general computer literacy
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
