SUMMARY:
Are you a qualified accounting professional with solid post-articles experience and a passion for owning the full finance function? A well-established financial services company in Pretoria East is looking for a dynamic Accountant to take full responsibility for their end-to-end finance operations.

POSITION INFO:
Key Responsibilities:

Maintain full accounting records and general ledger
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes
Perform daily and monthly bank and cash reconciliations
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Manage cash flow forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis
Handle VAT, PAYE, and all tax-related submissions
Prepare audit packs and liaise with auditors
Ensure robust financial controls and compliance with regulatory requirements
Support multi-currency and foreign exchange accounting

Minimum Requirements:

Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles
2–3 years post-articles experience in a full finance function
BCom Accounting degree (Honours or professional qualification advantageous)
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, tax compliance, and audit processes
Experience in financial services, banking, or multi-currency environments is highly desirable
Proficient in Excel and accounting software
High attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently
