SUMMARY:
Our client based in Olifantsfontein is looking for an Accountant to join their team.

POSITION INFO:
Accountant
To Provides financial information to management by researching and analyzing accounting data; preparing reports.

Duties

Completion of all journals for month end and year end and maintain a schedule of journals to be posted.
Management and application of accounting policies through journals posting.
Review the companyâs expense accounts on a weekly basis for accuracy and correction where required.
Prepare the VAT reconciliation.
Completion of all General Ledger Reconciliations in conjunction with Financial Manager by 4 working days post month end.
To work in conjunction with Debtors and Creditors departments to finalise management accounts.
To assist the Financial Manager with finalisation of the annual financial statements and communicate with external auditors.
To assist the Financial Manager with adhoc projects.
To assist internal audit.

Experience

1-3 years of experience

Qualifications

BCom Management Accounting. Knowledge of cost accounting favourable

IT system

Microsoft office
Syspro
