SUMMARY:
Are you an Excel wizard who dreams in debits and credits? We’re on the hunt for a sharp, detail-obsessed Accountant who thinks reconciliations are as satisfying as a perfectly balanced trial balance. Based in Cape Town, this role offers the chance to crunch real numbers, solve financial mysteries, and make month-end something to look forward to (well, almost). If IFRS is your love language and you enjoy long walks through spreadsheets, we want to hear from you!

POSITION INFO:

Reconcile revenue between financial and management systems
Process and post monthly payroll journals accurately
Reconcile payroll transactions and salary clearing accounts
Manage and reconcile staff debtor accounts
Investigate and allocate unallocated deposits
Analyse and resolve credit balances on debtor accounts
Identify and address financial discrepancies proactively
Ensure all reconciliations are completed accurately and on time

Skills & Experience:
Completed articles beneficial
Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience
Budgeting
Strong IFRS knowledge
Strong Excel and MS Office proficiency

Qualification:
BCom Accounting minimum
Honours advantageous
Completed articles highly beneficial
