Financial Accountant

Key Responsibilities:

â Manage the full accounting cycle from processing to reporting
â Perform supplier, customer, and bank reconciliations
â Prepare and submit VAT returns, with a focus on zero-rated VAT compliance
â Generate monthly management reports and support budgeting processes

Job Experience and Skills Required:

ð Education: BCom Accounting Degree (beneficial)
ð Articles: Completed SAICA or SAIPA (beneficial)
ð Experience: Minimum 3 years in a full accounting function role
ð¥ï¸ Software: Proficiency in SAGE, Pastel, and Pastel Partner (beneficial)
ð ï¸ Skills:
- Strong understanding of VAT and zero-rated transactions
- Excellent reconciliation and processing abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
