SUMMARY:
Step into a hands-on finance role! IFRS, budgets and SAP (based in Wellington).

POSITION INFO:
Join a leading manufacturing environment as a Financial Accountant. This is a hands-on role where you’ll take ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, and SAP processes, contributing directly to operational and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting & Compliance – Prepare accurate financial statements in line with IFRS.
Budgeting & Forecasting – Assist with budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.
SAP S/4HANA Management – Maintain and reconcile financial data within SAP.
Collaboration & Support – Work with operations, management, and other stakeholders to ensure financial control and insights.
Continuous Improvement – Identify process efficiencies and support implementation of financial controls.

Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:
- BCom Accounting / Finance
- Articles completed; CIMA Strategic Level preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in financial accounting
- Manufacturing experience advantageous
Skills / Technical Competencies:
- IFRS knowledge
- Budgeting and variance analysis
- SAP S/4HANA experience
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
Other Non-Negotiables:
- Hands-on, proactive, and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
