SUMMARY:
Opportunity for an Accountant

POSITION INFO:
My client is seeking an Accountant to join a well-established JSE-listed property company with almost 50 years of experience in the property market. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain exposure to listed company reporting and contribute to strategic financial management.

Duties:

Prepare financial statements in line with IFRS and JSE requirements
Manage reconciliations, journals, and general ledger
Support budgeting, forecasting, and audits
Ensure compliance with statutory reporting and tax obligations.
Support audits and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.

Education and experience:

BCom Accounting
SAICA articles completed
2–5 years’ accounting experience
