SUMMARY:
We are currently recruiting for an Accountant to join a well-established organization in the FMCG, warehousing, or export sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a finance professional with strong technical skills who is ready to take ownership of the full accounting function in a dynamic environment.

POSITION INFO:

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and the general ledger.
Prepare monthly management accounts and assist with financial reporting.
Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decisions.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with VAT and other statutory submissions.
Perform reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records.
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes and improve efficiency.

Qualification and Skills Required:

BCom Accounting Degree (essential).
SAICA articles preferred.
Minimum 2 years post-articles experience in a similar role.
Industry experience in FMCG, warehousing, or exports is advantageous but not essential.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; ERP system experience beneficial.
Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
