POSITION INFO:
If you’re a technically strong Accountant who enjoys getting into the details while still seeing the bigger picture, this Senior Accountant role is your chance to step into a position where you can truly add value. You’ll play a key role in maintaining financial integrity, supporting decision-making, and ensuring that the business runs efficiently from a financial perspective.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee full financial function responsibilities within the business.
Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
Handle reconciliations, journals, and month-end processes with precision.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure strong financial controls and identify areas for process improvement.
Work closely with operational teams to align financial insights with business activities.
Analyse financial data and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
Maintain and optimise the use of financial systems, particularly BuildSmart.

Qualifications & Experience:

BCom in Accounting or Finance, along with completed articles.
Minimum of 3+ years’ post-articles experience.
Industry experience within building and construction is advantageous.
BuildSmart experience is essential (non-negotiable).
Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
