Are you a hands-on Financial Accountant looking to grow within a structured manufacturing and operational environment? An opportunity is available for a detail-driven finance professional with strong reporting, reconciliations, and compliance experience.

POSITION INFO:
Company and Job Description:
This role is suited to someone who enjoys working across both financial administration and reporting functions within a fast-paced environment. You will support month-end processes, maintain financial accuracy, and contribute to strengthening controls and reporting standards across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger reconciliations
Perform daily bank reconciliations and monitor cash balances
Assist with month-end reporting, journals, and management accounts
Prepare VAT calculations, submissions, and supporting audit documentation
Support external audit processes and statutory reporting requirements
Oversee accounts payable processes and payment preparations
Assist with internal controls, process improvements, and financial compliance
Support ERP system integrity and financial data accuracy

Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
BCom Accounting or related qualification
CA(SA) advantageous
Experience:
2–5 years’ experience within a financial accounting environment
Exposure to foreign currency transactions advantageous
Experience with general ledger and trial balance maintenance
Skills:
Advanced MS Excel skills
Experience on SAGE / Pastel Evolution advantageous
Strong understanding of IFRS and financial reporting
Excellent attention to detail and analytical ability
Ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment
