POSITION INFO:
Our client, a reputable organisation located just to the east of the Sandton, is seeking an experienced Accountant to join their Head Office finance team. The role requires a technically strong professional who can take ownership of full-function accounting duties, manage reconciliations, assist with management accounts, and contribute to financial policy development. Requirements: BCom degree (or equivalent) Completed articles with a reputable accounting firm 5+ years relevant working experience in an accounting environment Strong knowledge and practical application of IFRS Key Responsibilities: Preparing and reviewing reconciliations Performing financial analysis Ensuring timely generation of monthly management reports Assisting with management accounts, schedules, and queries Preparing financial policies and procedures Handling individual company accounts Ad hoc assignments and projects as directed by the Group Financial Executive and Company Secretary
