POSITION INFO:
A wellâestablished organization operating within a diversified business environment is seeking an Accountant to take ownership of the full finance function. This opportunity is ideal for someone who has recently completed their articles and is looking to step into a role that offers both operational exposure and technical development.

You’ll play an important role in maintaining financial accuracy while working closely with internal stakeholders to support business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage the full finance function, including processing through to trial balance
Prepare monthly management accounts and financial reports
Perform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure ledger integrity
Process journals, accruals, and provisions
Assist with budgets and forecasting
Support monthâend and yearâend processes
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting standards
Work closely with internal stakeholders across operations and finance

Job Experience and Skills Required:

BCom Degree in Finance / Accounting
Completed SAICA or SAIPA articles, or CIMA qualification in progress/completed
Postâarticles experience preferable
Strong understanding of the full finance function
Solid technical accounting ability
Good attention to detail and problemâsolving skills
Ability to operate in a structured, deadlineâdriven environment
