SUMMARY:
An exciting opportunity exists for an Accountant based in Johannesburg North for a candidate looking to broaden their experience across the full finance function within a dynamic and growing business.

POSITION INFO:
This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who enjoys working in an operational environment, has exposure to stock management, and is eager to contribute across both finance and administrative functions. Key Responsibilities: Managing the full finance function Preparing monthly management accounts and financial reports Processing and reviewing journals, reconciliations, and ledger accounts Monitoring and reconciling stock-related financial transactions Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting documentation Assisting with budgeting and cash flow management Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Ensuring compliance with internal controls and financial procedures Supporting audit requirements and statutory reporting Assisting with finance-related administrative functions as required Education: BCom Degree in Accounting or Finance Candidates working towards a professional accounting qualification will be advantageous Strong academic foundation in financial accounting and reporting Skills and Experience: 1-3 years' relevant finance and accounting experience Exposure to the full finance function Stock environment experience is essential Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes Ability to work independently in a hands-on role Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Excellent organisational and administrative abilities If you are looking to build your career within a unique and evolving industry while gaining broad exposure across finance and administration, this is an excellent opportunity to take the next step in your professional journey.
