Key Responsibilities Financial Accounting & Reporting Perform the full accounting function and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records. Prepare financial information and supporting schedules for management reporting purposes. Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Assist with month-end and year-end reporting requirements. Creditors & Cash Flow Management Manage the full creditors function, ensuring timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments. Monitor supplier accounts and resolve queries efficiently. Assist with cash flow management and payment planning. Compliance & Regulatory Reporting Ensure compliance with VAT, tax, and statutory requirements. Prepare and submit statutory returns accurately and within required deadlines. Maintain compliance with relevant company policies and regulatory requirements. Adhere to all Gaming Board regulations and reporting obligations. Audit & Financial Controls Support internal and external audit processes. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. Assist with strengthening financial controls and identifying areas for improvement. Ensure financial records are maintained in line with governance requirements. Financial Analysis & Business Support Analyse financial information and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and profitability. Provide meaningful financial insights to support business decision-making. Assist management with ad hoc financial reporting and analysis. Participate in process improvement initiatives across the finance function. Requirements Qualifications BCom Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Experience Minimum 2 years' accounting experience. Previous creditors experience is essential. Exposure to internal or external audit processes. Sound understanding of VAT and taxation requirements. Systems & Technical Skills Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential. Experience working on ERP or accounting systems. Exposure to Accpac will be advantageous.
