SUMMARY:
Established long haul transport Company in Stellenbosch is seeking to employ an Accountant to join their team. This vacancy reports to the Financial Manager.

POSITION INFO:

Requirements:

B. Comm Financial Accounting or equivalent
Industry training in transport/ supply chain
Minimum of 1 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in perishables exports and transport
Datatim experience
Accuracy and good attention to detail
Basic mathematical skills, experience in Excel
Good interaction and communication skills
Ad hoc accounting assistance within different divisions as needed
Statutory assistance

Duties will include, but aren’t limited to:

Debtors and Creditors
Month end reporting
Year – end Audit preparations and recons
Strategic sessions (yearly task)
Ad hoc tasks
Process enhancement / Automation

Must have the knowledge or understanding of the following:

Business structures and SOP’s
Software systems
Operations
Financial Strategy and any other requirements to perform job requirement.
