Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Accounting Science (BCompt) degree
Minimum 3 years’ working experience in a similar position
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are highly advantageous

Job description & Skills:

Process and record transactions in ledgers and journals
Ensure that records and reports are accurately compiled and efficiently managed while maintain the data integrity of the company
Establish and implement new systems and/or controls while maintaining effective communication with management and relevant departments
Resolve ad hoc accounting queries and discrepancies that may arise
Liaise with auditor and/or SARS
