SUMMARY:
Accountant for a FMCG Company A completed BCom Degree in Finance or related qualification Completed SAIPA or SAICA Articles Minimum of three yearsÃ¢Â€Â™ experience within a senior finance position Fluent in English (Written and Spoken)

POSITION INFO:

Microsoft Office skills (Advanced Excel, Word, Outlook)

Experience in managing a team of 5 -10 people

Managing the day to day operations of the Finance Team.

Review and confirm all documentation and transactions captured on Sage Evolution

Processing and review of Journal Entries

Capturing EFT payments on an electronic banking platform

Attending to queries from colleagues and direct reports regarding financial processes and procedures

Processing and reconciliation of multiple Cashbooks.

Preparation and submission of monthly VAT returns

Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations

Updating and maintaining the Consignment model to report on the actual sales recognition

Updating and maintaining the Fixed Asset Register

Review of all trade payables and receivables

Conducting regular pricing maintenance on Sage Evolution

Reviewing of all credit applications and conducting due diligence on all new suppliers

Support auditors with the preparation of information and documentation.

Contract management

Conduct a costing check on all imported goods
