Fantastic opportunity for mature and experience Accountant in Johannesburg South.

POSITION INFO:

Our client is the largest independent Electrical Wholesaler in South Africa. Located in Johannesburg South they are currently looking for an Accountant to take over from the Financial Director who is retiring. This is an outstanding opportunity within a medium sized, family-owned company.

Looking for a strong all-rounder to take responsibility for the main and critical departments which are Debtors (±500), Creditors (±100) and Stock Control (±5000 items) and related departments such as Bookkeeping, Human Resources, Labour Relations, Dispatch and Receiving.

Requirements:

South African Citizen.
Fluent in English and Afrikaans (Zulu a bonus but not critical).
Looking for a mature candidate with at least 20 years’ hands on experience in a small to medium sized company.
Relevant Accounting Degree.
Knowledge and experience with Syspro and Sage VIP.
Must be available to start IMMEDIATELY

The successful candidate must live within +-20km of Jeppestown. The ideal candidate will be someone who is in their latter years and is presently out of work. Someone who is looking to find a company where they can still add immense value without looking to climb the corporate ladder.
