Our client operating within the Financial Services industry is searching for an individual to fill their current Accountant vacancy within their Johannesburg South based finance team. Our client is looking for a suitably qualified Accountant with post articles working experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) degree and/or Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree and/or National Diploma (NDip) specialising in Accounting
Completed South African Institute of Professional Accountants (SAIPA) and/or South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) articles
Valid Driving Licence and/or own transportation

Job description & Skills:

Ensuring that journal entries are accurately and timely processed
Providing data analysis and/or compiling financial reports to be presented to management
Compiling monthly VAT, IT14, PAYE, and Tax submissions and reconciliations for the respective clients and/or customers
Managing and maintaining ledgers to ensure that payments owed by the company to suppliers and other creditors
Establishing and implementing new systems and/or controls while maintaining effective communication with the relevant departments of the company
Ensuring that financial records and financial reports are accurately compiled and efficiently managed while maintaining the data integrity
