SUMMARY:
Our client in the Agricultural industry, has an opportunity available for an Accountant in the White River, Mpumalanga area.

POSITION INFO:
Requirements:

BCom Accounting degree
Articles by small company (SAIPA or SAICA)
Strong on Excel and preferably Xero
Experience on Caseware
Experience with SARS (handling audits etc)
Experience with inventory systems possible FT

Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial statements on Caseware IFRS statement
Asset registers maintenance and reconciliations with ledgers
Compilation of company management statements
Bank reconciliations to segregate it from creditors? I''m not 100% sure about this.
Invoicing - also to segregate and to capture other qualitative data (SCR, tonnes etc.) for reporting
Compilation of staff and wage data for reporting
Follow-up of “open” POs
Inventory journals
Follow-up and handling of SARS issues (VAT and PAYE) and audits
Checking payments
Submission of insurance claims and follow-up thereof
