SUMMARY:
Our client based in the East Rand is looking for an Accountant

POSITION INFO:
Minimum requirements:

Preferably a CA (SA)
ERP knowledge and experience
Business Intelligence and audit experience
Prepare monthly financial reporting and analyze financial data of income statement and balance sheet items

Financial Analysis:

Analyze costs monthly to search for potential cost savings
Analyze branch contract costs
Reconcile Balance sheet accounts
Analyse financial process
Analyse root causes for journals
Run a weekly report of stock adjustments posted to the income statement and analyze the high-end values

Monthly finance reporting:

Prepare and submit the Flash report to group
Complete the management pack with a schedule to group

Administration:

Review sundry payments daily
Update schedules for tax pack monthly
Processing of monthly journals
Update the IFRS 16 schedule with the latest lease amendments
